What happens when a business grows faster than its ability to remember?

Tyler described the repeated questions that started the project: project status, DNS locations, client communications, historical decisions, and the small connective details that are easy to lose while everyone is moving.

That is an important correction to the “second brain” metaphor. Better memory can make better work possible, but it cannot rescue an unclear question. The person still has to say who they are talking about, what they want to do, and which voice or boundary applies.

That restraint is part of the design. The point is not to eliminate the relationship. The point is to protect the relationship from avoidable confusion and repeated reconstruction.
