Recording & Media Participation Notice

Our rooms are built for real conversation. Some are also recorded so the strongest ideas can travel beyond the people who were there live. Here is what that means—and how to choose what is right for you.

THE SHORT VERSION

The room may become part of the signal.

Digital Cowboy sessions—including the AI Mastermind, SMART Connects, live podcast conversations, and related events—may be recorded using Meetn, Riverside, or another recording platform.

Selected moments may be edited into clips, excerpts, articles, podcast episodes, or promotional and educational media. Those pieces may appear on TikTok, YouTube, other social channels, DigitalCowboy.io, newsletters, podcast platforms, and other Digital Cowboy-owned or managed media.

03 — WHAT WE WILL NOT ASSUME

Private still means private

Private direct messages and conversations outside the recorded session are not included simply because you attended. Sensitive information should never be shared in a recorded public room.

YOUR CHOICE

You may opt out of promotional clips.

Tell us before the session—or as early as possible during it—that you do not want your image, voice, name, or comments used in promotional clips.

Because this is a group recording, opting out of promotional use may not make it possible to attend an otherwise recorded session without appearing in the full-room recording. We will tell you what participation alternatives are available.

Send a Media Opt-Out RequestInclude your name, the event, and the event date so we can identify the correct recording.

Before or during the session

Use the opt-out link above, contact the host, or send a private message to the host before contributing. Please wait for confirmation before appearing on camera or speaking.

If something has already been published

Send us the link or enough detail to identify the clip. We will review reasonable removal or future-use requests for media we control. We cannot guarantee removal of copies already downloaded, cached, quoted, or reshared by others.

By accepting the meeting disclaimer and entering or remaining in a recorded session, you acknowledge this notice and authorize Digital Cowboy to record, edit, excerpt, reproduce, and publish your participation as described above unless you have arranged an opt-out with the host.
